DBSI  Building a Strong Foundation

An extensive training programme  has earned major benefits for DBSI providing a young qualified  Solomon Islanders with values built on the DBSI culture from within.

The team have all completed studies in banking and finance-related fields from the Solomon Islands National University, University of the South Pacific (USP), the Fiji National University, and the University of Sydney.

Suti shares Development Bank with Kastom Gaden Association

Mr. Patrick Suti, DBSI Relationship Manager, was recently  invited by Kastom Gaden Association to present to its more than 200 members (farmers) about access to finance through the development bank.

Kastom Gaden Association is a local NGO in country looking after the farmers involved in organic farming . It  is also a member of Pacific Farmers Association who support the farmers with seed or plant materials for their farms.

In his presentation, Mr. Suti told the farmers that they can access funding through DBSI to assist with their farming business activities, such as buying tools, vehicle/boat for transportation and working capital.

He encouraged the members  to visit DBSI for  more detailed information about access to funding, and suggested they explore the tlending facilities such as agricultural grants, SME and MSME credit lines that would provide access to loans.
